MY FIRST CHOICE IS THE LEGEND HIMSELF, HENRY FORD

220px-Henry_ford_1919.jpg

This man, Henry Ford, was possibly one of the most ingenuitive people to have ever walked the Earth. Aside from being an incredible creator and man of great thought, he also possessed a strong amount of business skills and shaped a great deal of the modern world's work related structures. This man is the indefinite creator of the modern vehicle, by making his life's work widespread around the globe, in example, Ford Motors. Many people do not know that Henry Ford was a struggling investor, builder and businessman for a decent portion of his life, but his hard work and perseverance proved to be worth the struggle, as he developed the structure for not only modern day vehicles, but many great designs in the modern world at the average workplace. He ended up being one of the most successful men in the USA after enduring many hardships and triumphs. Did you know that Henry Ford was the creator of the five day work week? Did you know that Henry Ford also was the innovator and creator of welfare capitalism and true profit sharing. That is just a scratch on the surface to this man's many great achievements. One thing is for sure, his man was one of the greatest businessmen to EVER walk the Earth! Though I am talented with the pen, I honestly cannot tell this man's story well enough so I encourage you to read deeper into this great historical figure by following the link below!

MY NEXT PICK IS THE INFAMOUS JOHN DILLINGER

Bet you guys didn't see that coming did you? The reason I choose this man as one of my favorite historical figures is not only because of the intriguing life that he lived, but his famous quotes and his life story. Coming up in the Depression Era of the United States, this man showed a true drive to pursue his dreams, despite the fact they were to become a bank robber, and the most infamous one at that. John Dillinger had a troubled past, filled with many tragedies and downfalls, and showed true prowess, regardless if you agree with his life's choices or not. He also displayed honor among thieves, which is a very rare thing in the criminal world, which prompted me to favor this man as one of my favorite historical figures. In his robberies, he made it a point to not harm innocent bystanders and anyone inside of the bank, UNLESS they came to pursue him and take him down. In the criminal underworld, this is nearly unheard of, a criminal with values. Aside from these brief pieces of information on him, he led an incredibly fast paced lifestyle, famously quoted below. Please, take time to read about this man, or watch one of the many films duplicating his life. I am certain you will find some sense of enjoyment from it! You can read more about him at the link below! 😉

I should not have tagged you @terminallyill you always blow the doors off my post right after, lol. Really cool stuff, Henry Ford has one hell of a back story, the more I read about him the more you simply can't help but respect him. He pioneered so much in business it would take lifetimes to go over, and yes it wasn't always a rosey existence for him, he had to fight like hell to get a chance to revolutionize American (even international) business practices. A little shocked by the Dillinger selection, but yeah the guy did have a romance to him robbing the banks that were having to put the public out on the street. Rooting for the banks back then would've been a lot like rooting for the house in Vegas after they cleaned your clock. Dillinger definitely earned some sympathy from the public there. Excellent post, I look forward to see the responses, we could do this every day if we wanted to! Keep it up sir!!

@cryptkeeper, Ford was definitely one of the more inspirational businessmen I have read up on and studied over my years. I honestly believe a great deal of business practice should be modeled after his works and I myself have at times followed that road. He was one of the greats. Dillinger I am sure shocked a great deal of people, but the thing that drove him into one of my top spots is his passion, honesty and morals. Though he was a criminal, he was someone who molded society and in his own ways that are often undervalued or overlooked, helped create good things in this world. Even bad seeds can be the seed of greatness and good. He is an example, if someone cares to see into his history that far.

Thank you for taking the time to read this article of mine and for commenting on it! We can definitely do this one, why don't we make it a weekly thing? I'd be game for it :D

Excellent call!

Ford supported Hitler... and made millions off of WW2 and slave labor. It may have been the way of the times but still seems kinda shitty.

@paulmoon410, it wasn't that he supported Hitler, he supported the agreements he had with the Nazi party, as well as many other countries in Europe that used his company and resources for their own gain. That's like saying the owners of Glock support terrorism because their wares go in the hands of shitbags. Ford was a businessman, and war is bad for business, so he utilized contacts from both sides of the fence to make his plans work in his favor. Either way, the man was brilliant and one of the most incredible businessmen of the country just based on accomplishments and such.

I never said the owners of Fords. I´m speaking on him directly. War is actually great for businesses those government contracts keep that sustainable business model flowing properly. Its bad when you´re losing. Capitalizing on the means of the day is never seen as a bad thing... this is all in hind sight.
