Proverbs 1:25
But ye have set at nought all my counsel,
and would none of my reproof:
Lady Wisdom has kindly been offered as your guide by The Almighty God. God's will for your life should not be considered lightly. Choose God's way over your own way. Severe warnings are in the first chapter of Proverbs for those that choose to neglect God's offer, which is kind, of wisdom in providence, creation, scripture, conscience and teachers. (Proverbs 1:20–32 ).
Reader, your worse nightmare is coming, and Lady Wisdom and God will mock and laugh at you. (Proverbs 1:26–27 ). Sounds harsh but you had your chance. Actually, you had numerous chances, but God's gracious offer of wisdom did not interest you. (Proverbs 1:20–25 ). You were too busy, you were busy daydreaming, instead of listening you were talking. His counsel you treated as nothing, you rejected His warnings and His reproofs. It is too late now. You are now in serious trouble.
Read this Proverb in it's context before you judge this article too harsh. Get a view of Lady Wisdom and God's judgement, which is ferocious, against hearers who are impudent. (Proverbs 1:20–33 ). Which person could best explain this text? John the Baptist, Elijah, Paul, or Jesus? Or do compromisers like Benny Hinn, Joel Osteen or Jimmy Dobson suit your preference? Leave the Girl Scouts if you want to get a full dose of the fire and the hammer of God's word. (Jeremiah 23:28–29 ).

The efforts made by pastors and parents to get you to consider your current ways and to get you to reform your life may be laughed at by you currently. You may think, "I do not need to listen to them. I have things figured out". But soon God will be laughing at you, as terrors and anguish take your soul deep down into oblivion, like a hurricane or a tornado destroys everything in it's path. See below Scripture ...
Reader, ask yourself, "How do I treat God's offers of wisdom?" Ask yourself, "Am I humbled daily about God's existence?" "Do I honor and obey my parents?" "Do I take time every day to meditate on the Word and to read the Word?"
There is trouble coming if you are lax in one or more of the above mentioned areas. Be wise reader, listen and obey!
