Steemit is one of the fastest growing internet community, thereby accommodating people of different age, colour, location and even language.

We all have a responsibility of growing the community together, upholding and keeping the rules and policies of Steemit, also appreciating those who have decided to work hard, it's on that basis the @steemteens account is being formed.

@steemteen as the name bears will be focusing on appreciating the teenagers in this community, there is this popular saying which is said in different nations of the world " children are the leaders of tomorrow" so we have decided to support them and make them feel appreciated on this platform.

After being on Steemit for some months, have discovered that it most new sign ups are usually from teenagers and youths and most of them are eager to work, blog and earn. Going through some graphics design #contest held on Steemit, you can bare me witness that most participants are mostly teenagers and young adults. which tells us that they also want to achieve things in life and in the community, going through their blogs you see passion in their works and not all are being rewarded.

Many accounts are already helping in appreciating deserving post, just to mention a few: @steemstem they have sincerely put their mind and resources to see that every deserving science technology engineering and mathematics related post are being rewarded with the use of their tag #steemstem a lot of original works have been rewarded. @curie: being on their discord channel is enough to tell you that they are one of the most appreciative set in this community, they don't relax they search the whole block chain for post to appreciate @curie and their curators are very very appropriate in the sense that they deal with all the tags so be it music art science or anything at all you write on as far as the post as met their requirements they appreciate the writers, one amae

@steemteens has the plan to reward quality, quantitative, original works written by the younger generation in this community. Not saying that the adult or grown-ups won't benefit we are only making it clear that we the younger steemites have an upper hand in benefiting from the account.
