The SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket of Elon Musk, at the beginning of 2018, successfully lifted with the Tesla car, carried out a bumpy landing, but the rocket that completed the Earth's rotating and manoeuvring was a good flight. It was definitely great news for the consumer industry and promises interesting developments for the future. However, SpaceX focuses on BFR for now.


Elon Musk is dealing with crazy things: what exactly is BFR?

BFR is a specially crafted rocket developed to go to Mars. Although there are signs that SpaceX has stepped back, it is assumed that this name is "Big F * * king Rocket." SpaceX says the rocket's name is "Big Falcon Rocket."

There is not much information available about the current BFR, but we know that NASA is designed to be much longer than any rocket created. As with other SpaceX rockets, the rocket is designed to be reused.

What's the difference between Falcon Heavy and BFR?

The Falcon Heavy (FH) is a heavy duty launch tool designed and manufactured by SpaceX. BFR is still an ongoing study and is a significantly more powerful rocket that is specifically designed to reach Mars.

However, the two rockets seem to have common points. SpaceX has recently been working on several rocket models including the Falcon Heavy and Falcon 9 as well as the Dragon space capsule. When the reusable booster rocket technology is fully developed, the other rockets will be used less in the future (with the potential to expand business with the Falcon Heavy). So everyone actually combines the projects that will unite BFR.

However, BFR will only be more talented than Falcon Heavy.  Falcon Heavy is scheduled to be an automated supply vehicle that will send material to Mars, which is used to keep people alive when there is danger in the future in the world.

When it comes to BFR, the target is to attach a rocket to a spaceship and fly them both; What SpaceX thinks will cost about $10 billion. In this context, the spaceship is thought to have a fully equipped living space, the 40 cabins, 1 kitchen and 1 shelter for passengers to survive during a solar storm. Ars Technica also stated that BFR could connect with another bfr in the Earth's orbit. But we won't be able to tell you that all the information that was spoken is in theory yet.

What are the long-term objectives of the project?

The project has made an extremely ambitious entrance.  However, SpaceX has already exceeded a number of obstacles. So nothing seems impossible. Let's divide the three general categories, as Elon Musk stated in various talks about BFR.

Month: The first long term target can reach the moon and control it. If BFR is not ready for a Mars flight in a few years, it is safe to bet that he will try to go to the moon at least.

Mars: The plan of Mars is surprisingly detailed, even in this early period. On the first Mars flight, water resources and potential hazards are planned to be identified; In the meantime, the best places to create power plants, mineral minerals, etc. should be scanned. On the second flight, the crew is close to building structures and producing fuel reserves. Once installed, SpaceX is scheduled to launch a full-fledged colony, a final goal of transporting millions of people to a Martian habitat.

Transportation: In the near future, you can expect BFR to throw rockets around the earth at least. The aim of the Musk is to use the BFR as a transportation option that allows you to zoom in almost anywhere on our planet in about 30 minutes. Plus, the early tests of this transportation project are much easier and safer than trying out a full orbit test.

Where is BFR now?

Things look so good right now!  The success of Falcon Heavy is a crucial step, and Elon Musk stepped on the accelerator pedal in the development of BFR for now, and SpaceX acknowledged that it could continue to have different projects depending on future work.

When SpaceX plans to test the early prototypes of the BFR in the atmosphere, look for the next major milestone in 2019. If these tests go well, we can expect a much more exciting orbit test in 2020, and potentially a Mars flight in 2022. And of course, all this is seen as hopeful plans.
