Well written. It is a must for the primary care physicians to screen geriatric patients for depression. Furthermore those elderly individuals tend to have multiple co-morbids, which might result in poor quality of life. Hence, this could be a risk factor for depression. Nice one !
What you were saying is true. The rate of hospitalisation among elderly people for chronic diseases were high which could predispose them to a long-term depression. Thank you for reading it.
