Nice piece. I once read a documentary that states that reactivation of dormant genes can cause subsequent generations to pick up traits that were sidelined by the process of evolution. Example; the warewolf syndrome.
It makes me wonder what sort of foolish trends will arise when parents are legally allowed to genetically engineer their offspring.
