than that is not a disturbance but a welcome distraction to get over the heaviness of your work;-D

Who said it doesn't hurt to clean up the basement or have an appointment with your tax accountant? 😇That in particular is usually very painful!

Let's see, what is the good connotation to that? Tax accountant does all the shitty work you and I don't want to touch because we think its boring to death. At least I do. But thankfully there are people on earth who do love counting. I thank your accountant! Book keeping and all that is absolutely boring to death and I definitely thank my tax accountant for all he does. Actually I'd like to make his life easier, but he insists to have these meetings where he explains every detail of what happened in a particular time period... pffft, as if I could remember any of it after 10 seconds, let alone understand it. I'm like... tell me the result, but he insists to put me through the whole thing 😛
I should be drawing, but there are some important comments (like this one) to answer, something that can't be delayed! So, I'm wondering which is the disturbance. I try to stay up to date with steemit, while the thought of the unfinished drawing is drilling a hole in the back of my head, or is it the other way round? I draw, with the nagging feeling, that I haven't replied to all the comments here... plus, there is a post I want to make... oh well, most likely my wife will call me in half an hour to help her at the café. Hm... sounds like the te-something-lemma 😱
No worries about a vote. Particularly to a comment.. most people probably don't even expect it I guess. I just made it a habit, to give a 17% upvote to any first decent comment on my posts. 17 is "The star" = a bright and beautiful future and the penny its what is what we call a "Glückspfennig" (lucky penny) as I'm sure you know.
In many cases, a meaningful comment is worth more to me than the upvote. So, never worry about it 😀

:-) Laughing out loud! That was a good morning comment for me. Just crawled out of my bed, have a coffee (thankfully the coffeemaker cannot break for I am using your porcelain Melitta filter holder every day) and sipping while reading.
I hear you. We modern people nowadays are having great troubles to interest one another of our professions. You have no clues what your accountant talks about, he has none of how to paint, use brushes, materials, treating of canvasses and so on. We are condemned to be specialists and hardly can get hold on anyone who truly understands what we do.
Needs good will and courtesy to let yourself being carried through all this number crunching process.
End result is what then we can appreciate. The fine art & the clean account.
Nagging feelings and the realization that always something has to be neglected - good example of a disturbance!
