I read an article about them some time ago and now I had another occasion to gain new info. Also, did you knkw that they can le criogenated and decriogenated and would still be alive, even after 100 years in ice?

    I have found information about Japanese scientists who have found living tardigrates after they had put them in -20 C for 30 years, not sure I saw information about 100 years (yet, it would not surprise me now!)
