This plants have the tendencies to grow in our garden and also add more beauty to wherever they are been planted when they start growing. Most Zucchini plants grow rapidly in the summer, when the weather temperature will be warm for months and must be watered appropriately which will make it to yield more fruits in abundance. That is why you need to water the plant frequently for proper germination.

Zucchini plants needs to be watered everyday just like your garden flowers, especially during the hot or dry season when there is little or no rain fall, depending on your location weather or season. Season in Africa is different to Asia, and Asia cannot be compared to Australia likewise Europe and America.

How to get rid of worms in Zuchini

Zucchini known as (Cucubita pepo) is a summer squash and garden plant. This plant can be affected by pests, insects and worms. This worms are larvae of moths that overwinter in the garden rubble/moved into the garden during summer when the weather is warm. The normal methods of controlling plant pest and insect can also be apply to Zucchini squash plant at the appropriate time of growing cycle. No that variesties of warms can affect growing Zucchini plant.

What you have to do combat the affected plants :

Indentify the affected parts of the plant by worms, insects or pest and apply pesticide. After the worm or moth had laid their eggs at the base of the plant,Zucchini squash vine borers mature inside the plant stem. Most of these worms are 1 inch in length, and also white or grey in colour when you look at them. They destroy the base of the plants after feeding on it, and if proper treatment is not taking the plant will die off. Other worms that affect this plants are :
Pickle worms

Cabbage loopers

Cutworms

Among other types.
Note: before applying any pesticide, carefully read through the label on the pesticide that contains permethrin for application instructions, because different types of worms require a delicately different application amount or measurement.

How to Apply

Mix the pesticide that is containing permethrin, if it is necessary and according to specification on the label. Permethrin is often available in bait powdery form, and on the other hands concentrated liquid form.

How to Plant Zucchini

Zucchini plants like to grow in soil is that is consistently wet almost all the time. to help the soil conditions to support rapid Zucchini growth, you have to water from below, while doing this will also prevent fungus from growing on Zucchini leaves.
Remember that overwatering of plant can kill it, so avoid overwatering of Zucchini squash plant to prevent swelling of its leaves. Because if you do, it will start producing blistery blemish on the fruits and foliage and moreover this damages can also happen if there is too much down pour of rain.
Sprinkle the chemical (permethrin powder) or pesticides containing such chemical either in liquid or powdery form around and on the base of the plants most in the evening after the flowers on the plants have closed, because most of this insect and worm are very active in the evening time, because after the sunset they will be hidden from their predators that will eat them up. And it also prevents the bees from been killed after the flower had closed. Bees are very important to the flowers.

Repeat this treatment according to the instructions and specifications on the label or by specialists to control pests and worms from destroying the plants. Also start this treatment at the early stages of the infection because worms are not easy to get rid of once they got their ways into the fruits, stem of the plants. The earlier the better.
One of the solution that could be used is Spinosad organic solution best for worm control.
