Discover the questions that scientists ask: Microscopic, macroscopic and global.
The branches of science are a practical way of classifying the topics studied by scientists; Life Sciences, Earth Sciences and Physical Sciences. In any branch of science, the subjects of study are highly specialized. This specialization is based on three types of questions that scientists ask about the world.
QUESTIONS AT THE MICROSCOPIC LEVEL

Many scientists investigate the microscopic world. Those who dedicate themselves to the Life Sciences can ask themselves how small bacteria invade the body and cause diseases or they may try to determine how each cell carries out all the vital functions. Physicists may question how the parts of an atom interact or why some chemical compounds are harmless while others are poisonous (toxic). Scientists investigating Earth examine the internal structure of rocks to determine why some rocks last millions of years while others are eroded by wind and water in a matter of decades.
QUESTIONS AT MACROSCOPIC LEVEL

These scientists look for answers to questions that have to do with the macroscopic world, that is, the world of objects visible to the naked eye. Macroscopic questions usually encompass large groups of objects.
Scientists studying the earth, for example, may want to determine the forces that caused the eruption of a volcano or the causes of an earthquake in a given area. Physicists may wonder why it takes longer to stop a heavy car than a lighter one. And scientists who study life can examine the populations of organisms in an area to determine how each organism interacts with others and the surrounding environment.
QUESTIONS AT GLOBAL LEVEL

A large part of science deals with global issues. One of those problems is the effect of global pollution on our environment. Source Pixabay
Some of the questions that scientists ask are based on a more global point of view.
Earth scientists, for example, study wind configurations in the atmosphere to determine how the climate can be predicted more accurately. Life scientists determine how pollutants that reach the air or water affect living beings from another part of the world. And Physicists can look for the fundamental forces of nature that govern everything that happens in the universe.
As we can see, there are many types of questions that require answers and many areas of science that can be explored in the future. But, you do not have to be a scientist to ask questions about the world and to find your answers.
The study of science is not only for scientists!
Anyone who has the curiosity to ask questions and the energy to seek answers can claim as theirs a small part of science.

And what about particle physics, when the infinitely small (particles) joins the infinitely big (cosmology)? Where do you classify it? :D
oohhh a good question. I do not know much about particle physics, but I think it would be studied in its entirety from the micro to the global, that is, from the atoms to the clusters of the galaxies. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I want to learn more.
This is it :) It is the world of the two infinities, somehow ;)
This is a nice article! Btw, the third pic "global level" is so cool! Btw, my upvote doesn't worth anything 'cuz I'm a newbie here, but I'm posting this comment as a support. If you want, you can check my introduction post and leave me some feedback. And yeah, I'm 17 :) PEACE!
Thanks and welcome. Of course I will see your blog.
