I like this post, as the connection seems so obvious once you point it out. Plants must get nutrition from somewhere, like maybe the soil, and so if the soil doesn't have nutrients, how can the plants have them?

I'm actually really interested in if you're familiar with compost - does the area you live in accept compost, and does compost significantly help fix this problem of soil not having enough nutrients?
