interresting and nice post, i used to work with CPG and CLHP but we did'nt have chemical appliances to work well on CLHP so it was more theoricaly, thankx for the good informations i hope you post more about Chromatography :)
yes CLHP is referring to HPLC, i'm studying in french language not in engish that's why :) , and CPG (Chromatographie en phase gazeuse) is referring to GC (Gas chromatography).

Actually I don't have much beautiful column photos as not much of my compounds are colored, sadly.
