Pre-Calculus: Rate of change lesson 1
Another concept we need to remind you of before starting calculus: rate of change. The rate of change is found by selecting two points on your straight line and finding the change in y over change in x. The rate of change is the same no matter which two points you pick on a straight line graph, but it will be different when you have a quadratic.
