Noticias Astro: Ondas Gravitacionales Detectadas por Cuatro Observatorios
Estaba empezando mi lluvia de ideas sobre el tema de hoy, cuando vi en mi feed de Facebook (sí, todavía abra Facebook cada ahora y luego - Steemit por otro lado está siempre encendido: D), así que vi las últimas noticias de hoy sobre la detección de gravitacional olas por la 4ª vez.
Así que hoy, LIGO Scientific Collaboration y la Colaboración VIRGO anunciaron que el 14 de agosto a las 10:30:43 UTC, 2 agujeros negros, con masas respectivas de 30,5 y 25,3 veces la del Sol, y que se ubican en 1,7 mil millones a años luz de distancia, fusionado causando ondas gravitacionales que fueron detectadas con éxito por no uno, sino tres observatorios.
Esta fusión creó un nuevo agujero negro, cuya masa es 53 veces la de nuestro sol, donde 3 masas solares se convirtieron en energía durante la fusión. El evento se llamó GW170814 (Ondas Gravitacionales 14 de agosto de 2017)
Las detecciones previas se basaron en dos observatorios operacionales - ambos detectores LIGO (uno localizado en Livingston - LA y el otro en Hanford - WA), sin embargo, esta es la primera vez que los tres observatorios detectan el mismo evento como una red, con la adición del detector VIRGO situado cerca de Pisa, Italia. VIRGO comenzó a funcionar a partir del 1 de agosto.
¿Qué son LIGO y VIRGO?
Esos detectores son lo que se conoce como Observatorios de Ondas Gravitacionales de Interferómetro, cuyo propósito es detectar realmente ondas gravitatorias y, por lo tanto, colisiones de agujeros negros.

Most of those author's posts are plagiarized. I've downvoted the ones I found and reported to Steemcleaners. Perhaps you could go also downvote some of the ones I've flagged as well.
I've also reported, steemcleaners will deal with this it's systemic for all of their posts so this likely calls for blacklisting imo.
