Liked yr Post. I saw a variety of #jellyfish at Monterey Bay Aquarium (CA/USA).

It was fascinating & I spent about 3 hrs watching these creatures ♦♦ Guess how they move ..it's SORT of floating !

Anyhow, 175 years is NOT that long for 'Chrysaora fuscescens' to be known or classified.
As to that tool -- Gene sequencing ... I was not aware of this. Interesting, as I had (in school) an INTEREST in Marine Biology .
