in #steemstem7 years ago (edited)

HELLO FRIENDS STEEMIAN

okay friends steemit all in this post i try to share a little story and picture about the unique animal color orange and black that have many feet that i found in a waterfall in my area. I try to continue my research on the strange and unique animal that I found in my life. I also express my gratitude to @lemouth who has provided guidance in my last post on how to make good writing. Through all my writing in steemit I hope to contribute in the development of platform steemit specially and science in general.

The unique animal we will be talking about is called Polydesmida. an interesting name is not it? like the title of the post that we lift, this animal does have a lot of kai and a stunning shape with contrasting colors.

What is Polydesmida

based on the literature I studied this animal named Polydesmida. according to wikipedia

Polydesmida (from the Greek poly "many" and the "bonding desmos") is the largest sequence of the millipede, containing about 3,500 species, [2] including all millipedes reported to produce hydrogen cyanide (HCN).

the secretion of Polydesmide which is hydrogen cyanide as mentioned above is toxic to its predators. so the bright colors that are displayed on the body bag Polydesmida bag into a warning of sekresi toksin it produces. this also makes the predators will evade when met with Polydesmida.

the animal I found was 2 cm in size and 3 mm wide and black base color with orange line pattern on top body. Polydesmida has 18 feet on the left and right sides so that the number of legs is 36. This animal has no eyes, Polydesmida uses the antenna as a sensor to know where to go.

the striking thing that distinguishes between Polydesmida and millipede is its body shape. Polydesmida body has a flat or flat shape while the millipede has a round body shape. the number of rings on the body Polydesmida can be used to know its age. adults have 19 or 20 rings, while teenagers may have 7 to 19 rings.

Where are the coordinates of the discovery of these insects?

I found this Polydesmida at coordinates 274489.00 m E, 562929.00 m N ZONE 47 N Datum WGS 1984. Location of the discovery is a waterfall in the area nisam district of North aceh. This waterfall called Waterfall Ceuraceuk two levels. the location of the watershed allows a large number of small living insects due to the need for abundant food and water. to get to the location we have to walk as far as 200 meters across the plantation residents.

Conclusion

Polydesmida is one type of arthropod animals that also exist in tropical rainforest in Indonesia that we know from the existing literature study. Polydesmide has a striking color as a warning of toxic hydrogen cyanide (HCN) for its predators. the number of legs Polydesmida found 36 fruit and affect the amount of rings in accordance with his age. the more the ring then the more legs. Polydesmisda can not move fast because short legs are not like long bony legs and can move faster. Polydesmids include herbivorous animals that eat the rest of the decaying vegetation.

Polydesmids include herbivorous animals because they eat the rest of the decaying vegetation. he can not move quickly like a centipede because of short and tight legs. Polydesmida is somewhat hard to find because of its habit of hiding under a decaying leaf.

scary bug ;(

This was really interesting!

We should promote original personal work on steemit. That's why I want to praise you for your post, but it's not right to use someone else's signature. The last part of your post is "borrowed" from @suesa's posts. At least you could ask for her permission before doing that.

Please don't take my comment as an insult, I only want to give you some friendly advice. :)

thanks .... i am new in steemit please forgive me if it is wrong.

I understand that you are new, you just need to ask permission before using something you don't own. I believe it would be better if you contact @suesa and ask her to use her signature.

Especially this part: "Got a scientific topic you want to see as a story? Leave me a comment!" is her distinguished line along with the gif image (I don't know if it's free for others to use).
The rest: "You want to support scientists at Steemit? Are you a scientist at Steemit? Join the #steemSTEM channel in steemit.chat and connect with us!
STEM stands for S cience, T echnology, E ngineering and M ath"
is only promoting #steemstem, which for me is not wrong.

i understand now .. thank you for your guidance. and I am very happy to have friends like you. hope you are willing to help me to grow in steemit. my honor @irwanumpal.

We all need to help each other around here. Feedback is what pushes us to become better and better!!

Have a nice day @irwanumpal!!
