I've watched the movie, quite an interesting or macabre (depending on which side of the fence you stay) peek into what the future of cybernetics/bionics may have in the offing.
Often times, ethical discussions impede scientific discoveries. The issue of shedding is no exception.
I am skeptical as well. I mean, it is more like hacking a more able body for a failing one while discarding the already failing one. One person must be at a loss here - a huge one and it is usually the owner of the able body. And this is why shedding may not be encourage but bionics are welcomed anytime, any day, so far the tissues are lab grown and not harvested from living human.
