Very interesting article, I never knew that such a visual phenomenon exists in nature.
This resembles a more shivering experience that preceds a thunderstorm which catches you in the top of a mountain. Your hair raises due to electrostatic influence from the clouds above, and the simple thought that the lightning is about to strike soon is frightening.
