The sprayers used in this technique use the air to push the material or paint coating particles. By providing high voltage on the tip of the sprayer will produce a large amount of electric charge. The charged particles will come out of the nozzle after the particle binds part of the charge. Therefore, the object to be painted is generally made of metal and given opposite electrical charges so that the charge will spread evenly on the metal surface.
