A guide like this was long overdue, I'm very glad that you've taken the time to properly explain how copyright works.
I must admit that I've made some mistakes in the past by not giving proper credits , but I'm always giving proper attribution now.
Last but not least, we should all be very grateful for people sharing their work under permissive licenses. I personally always try to donate something to artists that publish under CC or public domain.
That's a great idea. When I email certain researchers for permission I do a little offer of giving them steem if they sign up to steemit haha... they never do yet =/
