I like to think of google as the biggest sensor in the world, collecting data from everyone that uses it. It might not be apparent but it's slowly transitioning and forming the future AI brain. It's already interacting with users, currently only through commercials, but it seems like it knows them. Who knows how the AI will use it in the future. After all, it's huge memory bank containing all kinds of human knowledge, experience, and interaction.
