Hi and thanks for this wonderful post. I was wondering whether there was a difference between actually uploading an image taken from the web, and just linking directly to that image?

On a steemit post it would look the same, but when only linking I don't actually have the image in my post, only the link, so if the source takes the image off it will be taken off my post as well.

I guess my question is, is it OK to link to images not in the public domain, assuming their available for online viewing somewhere?
