Haha! But all mappings are 2D :P
Cartography is about projecting 3D objects on 2D surfaces, which is why there's always distortion involved. (I get your sarcasm though :P)
Funny thing is that flat-Earthers use similar reasoning as evidence that supports their arguments. :)
I still want to think this is all a big prank. I won't take them seriously until I meet one in real life. I've heard so many nonsense in my life, but never have I met a person who believes the Earth is flat.
If you do, please take pictures! :D
