Hello to the entire Steemit community, today I came across an history that struck me a lot because many times we complain about our lives and where we do not know how important and valuable it is. This extraordinary and short story of insect called Ephemeroptera (Moscas de Mayo), where have only a maximum of 24 hours to mate and then terminate its life cycle.

The Ephemeroptera also called (Moscas de Mayo), his development begins in the water, they are insects of elongated and thin bodies. Curiously, they do not have a mouth, therefore they could not feed themselves and all due to their main role, which is reproduction.

The males gather in swarms to flutter in the air as if it were clouds. These concentrations of males attract the females, each of them being fertilized by a (dancer). The couple moves away from the swarm to mate. The male dies almost immediately after copulation. The female lives just enough time to lay eggs just over the water and laying the eggs without having any contact with it.

The Ephemeroptera (Moscas de Mayo) are reproduced specifically in that month where this phenomenon usually occurs. They can be found in lakes or rivers around the world except for Antarctica. Essentially in clean and well oxygenated freshwater habitats.
