I was so sorry to read that your patient has passed away, and at such a young age @anaestrada12. Thank you for sharing this case with us and informing us about how cases like this tend to develop. Sadly, it seems like in most instances the future doesn't seem so bright for many such patients. Still, having access to this type of understanding is always important in order to build realistic expectations (e.g. for family members).

Hello and thank you for reading my publication and leaving your opinions on the content. The reality is sad for people who suffer from this type of pathology, practically null is their life expectancy. In my previous article I explained how difficult it is to cope with this type of disease and the consequences that can bring to develop a metastasis as in this case occurred with this young girl.
The genetic factor is something that we can not change, we doctors only try to help prolong a little life, taking into account the patient and his family that at some point may occur death.
