NFL Preseason Week 2 Bet

The NFL is back, THANKFULLY! I have been able to write about fantasy sports in a while and I can't wait to be back to doing daily Fantasy NFL, NBA, College Football, and College Basketball articles for @steemsports. The long summer days of only MLB baseball here in the United States make for a pretty boring sports summer. But, we are now in week 2 of the NFL Preseason!
There are three games tonight and I really like one of the games to be the highest scoring game of the day. The first game of the day is the Carolina Panthers hosting the Buffalo Bills. There are tons of questions about the health of Panthers starting quarterback Cam Newton. He ended last year with his throwing arm looking like a wet noodle. So I am going to stay away from betting this game.
The second game of the day is between the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. All eyes will be on Jameis Winston this season to see if he finally is going to make the leap from good quarterback, to elite. Last year he had to battle with Ryan Fitzpatrick, who had some amazing games and earned the nickname Ryan "FitzMagic." But that was short lived and reality set in. This year is a make it or break year for Winston and I think he will step up to the challenge.
But the actual game that I am going to bet tonight is the Chicago Bears at the New York Giants. Kickoff is set for 6:30pm Central Standard Time and the game can be seen on National Television on the NFL Network. It will take place at MetLife Stadium in New York. The weather calls for a nice night and there is no rain in the forecast. The Giants are favored by 2.5 points and the over/under is 41 points.
I am not so much interested in who wins the game tonight but want to see a lot of points scored by both teams. The Bears will give their starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky some solid reps and the team is treating this game as its warm up to their week 1 game against the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers.
The Giants on the other hand are very excited to see the progress that their young rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is making. The Giants shocked the world when they drafted Jones in the first round of last years draft. He is the air apparent to Eli Manning and will likely be starting by week 8. Eli has had a great career and delivered two Super Bowl wins to the fans of New York, but his time is almost over.
