NFL Fantasy Today - Afternoon Only Edition

We are back with another special AFTERNOON ONLY edition of NFL Fantasy Today! Week 11 in the NFL is in full swing and there are some fantastic early games going on right now. But we are going to focus only on these three afternoon games.
Oakland Raiders at Arizona Cardinals
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers
Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints
These are some potential high scoring games but the Eagles/Saints game should feature the most amount of offense. There will be an extremely high amount of ownership of Drew Brees today but I am going to go in a different direction. Let's get started with the quarterback position.
C Wentz QB 6300. Carson Wentz entered this season with a very strange scenario. He was a star for the Philadelphia Eagles last year until his season ended due to injury. Wentz had to watch his teammates win the Super Bowl as he was in street clothes. But Wentz is back and healthy for the Eagles and they find themselves in a must win territory today. I like Wentz to rise to the occassion and have a huge game today.
M Gordon lll RB 8900. Melvin Gordon is enjoying his best season ever for the Los Angeles Chargers. He is a huge reason for the teams success and that should continue today. I expect Gordon to put up big numbers against the Denver Broncos defense. He should run for close to 100 yards and also be a target out of the backfield several times for Phillip Rivers. If he can catch 5+ screens and short passes, it will be a dynamite fantasy day for Gordon.
A Jeffery WR 6300. If quarterback Carson Wentz is going to have a big day, Alshon Jeffery will need to have a big day too. And I think that he will. The New Orleans Saints secondary is weak and Jeffery is going to use his speed and size to stretch the field and also go over the middle. I think he will have no problem cruising past his fantasy average of 16.5 points per game and should get closer to 25 fantasy points today.
Arizona Cardinals D 3100. The Arizona Cardinals defense will face a very bad Oakland Raiders offense today. It doesn't even appear that the Raiders are trying to win games and they are clearly tanking the season to get the #1 overall draft pick. That will bode well for the Cardinals defense at home today. If they can force 2+ turnovers and keep the Raiders out of the endzone, this could be a massive fantasy day for this unit.
With only 3 games to choose from, NFL Fantasy Football can be very challenging. But I really like these four selections and I have confidence in them. There is no doubt that the New Orleans Saints will put up some nice numbers today, but a majority of the public will be on them so we are going to try and fade those picks.
