Major League Baseball Playoffs Preview: Friday's Games

The Major League Baseball 2017 Playoffs are in full swing today with all 8 teams in action! This will be one of the most exciting postseasons in a long time as every single team is good enough to win the World Series. The Cleveland Indians are the favorite in Las Vegas at 9/4 odds. The World Champion Cubs sit at 10/1.
The first game of the day gets going in a couple hours. The Boston Red Sox are down 0-1 to the Houston Astros. The game is being played at Minute Maid Field in Houston, Texas. The Houston Astros are pretty heavy favorites at -175. They are sending their best starting pitcher to the mound today, Dallas Keuchel. The Red Sox will counter with Drew Pomeranz getting the start. The Red Sox can't afford to fall behind 0-2 in this series but this will be an extremely difficult test against Keuchel. After this game the series will head back to Boston for game 3.
The second game of the day features the New York Yankees against the Cleveland Indians. The Indians lead this series 1-0. The game is being played at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. The Indians are a HUGE favorite today at -225. The Yankees are in a must win situation and are sending veteran starting pitcher CC Sabathia to the mound. The Indians are countering with their ACE Corey Kluber. The Yankees will have to play a perfect game to even the series at 1-1 before heading to New York for game 3.
The third game of the day is the World Champion Chicago Cubs playing against the Washington Nationals. This is the first game in the series and will be played at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. The Nationals are a favorite to win today at -153. Kyle Hendricks will get the ball first for the Cubs. He will be facing a dangerous Nationals lineup lead by superstar Bryce Harper. The Nationals are sending Stephen Strasburg to the mound. Both of these teams are loaded and this will be a great series.
The fourth and final game of the day is the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The game is being played at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and this too is the first game of the series. The Dodgers are the biggest favorite on the board today at -262. The main reason for that is because they are sending left handed stud Clayton Kershaw to the mound. The Diamondbacks are sending Taijuan Walker to try and dual with Kershaw.
