Six and a half years spent with with Toronto is where most of Vince's magic occurred. From the late 90s to the mid 2000s, Vince was an ustoppable shooting guard averaging 24 points a game with a shooting rating of 45% from the field and 39% from three point range.
He was a marvel of the game and enhanced his team with awe-inspiring acrobatics. The slam dunks Vince completed in the regular season were on par with the best of his slam dunk contest entries; he was one of the greatest showmen to ever live right besides Michael Jordan.

Vince is still in the league and relies on his shot to get floor time although he is a bit older. When Kobe Bryant was asked who would win a dunk contest amongst all eras, he replied that Vince would take that one. It wasn't even a hesitation from the greatest Laker to ever live...
Carter's fade away was as pretty as his windmill, and at times in his Raptors tenure...he was nearly unguardable. He played with the likes of legends like Tracy McGrady and still dropped 25 points on them with the threat of landing every three pointer he launced that night.

When Vince tried to revitalize his career at the New Jersey Nets, the team unfortauntely tanked and had one of the worst records for years in a row. Vince has only had two NBA selections because he lacks defense...but that isn't what the fans loved and remember him for.
Vince was an absolute all star for his offensive ability. He could score on anyone and dunk on the biggest centers in the league. It was epic watching this man play in his prime; the dunk contests he won could help pass the day...they don't make them like Vince anymore.

I grew up idolizing Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady. Anytime I watched them play, I knew there was a good chance that I'd see them do something I'd never seen before! It's absolutely ridiculous that Vince is still playing at the level he is (though I'm a little bitter about him destroying my Cavs earlier in the season).

I so remember Tracy McGrady ballin with the Orlando Magic.

Big fan of Vincent Carter. Man can DUNK!

I forget that him and tmac used to be teammates. Great write up

It is always important to celebrate a legend.

Best in-game dunk ever, over Frederic Weis...

The best dunker of the history for me.

Air canda feliz cumple años .

Vince was an absolute gangster!! I grew up on him destroying the rim. That first photo is insane! Defies physics...

Half a man, half amazing! this is a 40 year old guy who prefers to play rather than sit in a bench waiting for his teammates to bring him an NBA title!
