The Cleveland Indians are on an amazing winning streak of 21 games and counting. Although the streak is nothing short of spectacular, for the Indians a championship is the only thing that will satisfy this outstanding team in the 2017 season. They suffored a gut wrenching loss to the Chicago Cubs in the World Series last year after blowing a 3 games to 1 lead.
Even though Cleveland is just a few more victories away from gaining their second straight AL Central crown, it is not simply their only goal as they push forward in their quest to dominate the sport. They won the pennant too last year and doing that again won’t be enough to satisfy them as the franchise’s last World Series crown is now just a faint memory and a feat they achieved way back in 1948. This season MUST end with a World Series Championship.

This 21 game winning streak has experts in agreement that the Indians are currently baseball’s most complete team. The epic streak can be contributed to the fact that everything is working. Cleveland’s offense has been at the top of its game and the defense has stopped opponents dead in their tracks. The bullpen’s specialty has been locking down games, despite the fact that Andrew Miller has been on the disabled list.
The Indians have some of the top players in MLB this year while many are in the running for MVP status. Jose Ramirez, Corey Klubar, and Fransisco Lindor have all met and exceeded expectations and are on the MVP chase, with Ramirez receiving a lot of attention in particular. Ramirez and Lindor have played a pivitol role in giving the Cleveland Indains the 2nd highest on base % in the league at .340.

Corey Klubar is leading the starting pitchers on the team with a 2.44 ERA. The Indians pitiching staff as a whole is leading the league with a 3.37 ERA. Klubar is 16-4 on the year and has an incredible WHIP (Walks+Hits Per Innings Pitched) of .87.
The only question left is not whether the Indians will win their division this year, but rather will they complete their quest to claim title to this years championship? Only time will tell.

great win

This was an incredible run! One thing that is so shocking is even with this unprecedented run, how many games they were still back of the Dodgers for the best record in baseball. The early season run the Dodgers were on is incredible, and given their recent struggles will make for an great October. Love to see the Indians and Dodgers in the series.

This is truely amazing, this team has banded together after losing their unofficial leader Mike Napoli to the Texas Rangers in the off season. It was a up and down start to the season, but they have clearly shifted into another gear as the playoffs approach.

When will this roller coaster end? At the moment it looks like never! Cleveland Strong!

Good job

Thks u
Good luck today

Actually, i love this game.

@steemsports This is supercool! Thanks!

Ahh playoff ball! I love playoff ball because anything can happen. You tend to see pitchers come out of the bull pen and end up pitching in situations they're not used to! I remember a few years ago, 2 or 3 years in a row I believe the Wild Card team ended up winning the world series. Anything can happen!

Probably the St. Louis Cardinals?

Yup and Giants once or twice as well.

awesome writing Thank you. For your great writing and for sharing
