Anthony 'AJ' Joshua:

Kugan Cassisus is one of the top boxing reporters in the game today. In Anthony Joshua's open workout two days ago, he asked the IBF and WBA world champion what exactly he sees when he looks in the mirror. "I'm a unit..." AJ said smirking, "I'm ready." You can not hate the most exceptional player in a game gone defunct. Welcome to boxing... where swagger and influence gets you titles and fame more so than you the skills you possess. Anthony knows his opponent is outmatched in this next bout, but it is not his fault the original fighter Kabrat Pulev pulled out with a shoulder strain. Pulev would have been a much tougher test, but still one that AJ would pass with flying colors. Nobody truly seems to be on this man's level in terms of skill and power, and nobody has eaten a Klitschko right hand consistently for over 25 minutes all the while finishing him with strikes. Many heavyweights have claimed Wladimir as the hardest puncher of the modern era....I say modern because nobody could rattle the earth like Big George.
Carlos Takam:

Takam is a very sturdy and experienced fighter with 35 wins, and only 3 losses. He has only been finished once in his career by the (enhanced) Alexander Povetkin, a fight most every fan should watch as it was a banger! Takam comes in as a heavy underdog to this fight as he is accepting the challenge in under two weeks notice, and he will have hardly had time to get his diet correct. He is stepping into the ring with the most dominant heavyweight champion in the world right now, and also the most dangerous. Takam has solid power but his strength is within his durability and willingness to throw in the pocket. Stylistically I can see Takam landing on Joshua more so than he would on a fighter like Tyson Fury, but speaking of that man only gets me disappointed for what could have been. If Takam pulls off this miracle, it will surely take boxing to another level....a very low level.
Matchup, Breakddown, & Dream Fight:

AJ, The Unit, Juggernaut...all fit him well. He is an absolute savage in the ring and a gentlemen out. One can see the glare in his eye, and the sheen off his teeth when his opponents get brazen. He knows he a young, powerful beast whom not many in this world could challenge to a fight. His Olympic gold medal adds to the prowess of his acumen, and his devastating power and dominant knockout over Wlad Klitcshok cements him as the greatest heavyweight alive today. As an American, I can say I am disappoint in our heavyweight champion, and I wish whole-heartedly that we can see a unification of not only belts, but nations. US vs. UK matchups brings the bad blood of boxing lore and match legendary fights that pit Mexican fighters against each other. I would like to see WIlder vs. Joshua for national pride, but in terms of pure skill, let us have Joshua vs. Fury...the people need it! This is boxing, support the heavyweights so we can usher in a new era of greatness!

Sort:

boxing is very challenging game.

Good piece. Pity Pulev had to pull out but Joshua is still only 20 fights in so this'll be a good bit of mileage for him. Can't see any other fighter getting near him anyway. Wilder isn't in his league, Fury is a mess, and Parker would get eaten up by those two never mind Joshua.
Still looking forward to the fight.

Thank you man, agreed!

AJ is young and stronger but furry like legends for ex. klitsko i look forward to
