NBA Fantasy 2/21
We are back with another edition of NBA Fantasy Tonight! It seems like forever ago when we had any regular season games. The NBA All-Star Weekend is long gone and the players should be all rested up for this final push towards the playoffs. There are 25 games left in the regular season so each game counts and the pressure will only increase.
There are 6 games tonight and then a full slate of action all weekend. There are many different story lines that we will be following over the next 2 months. Who is going to earn the top seed in the East and the West? Who will miss out on the playoffs all together? And what will happen with Lebron James and the Lakers?
As far as tonight's action, let's get it started with the point guard position.
D Lillard PG 8600. Damian Lillard was in the news over the weekend when he said that he has no intentions of ever playing for another team. That made the Portland Trailblazer faithful very happy. Lillard will lead his team tonight on the road though as they are on the East Coast playing against the Brooklyn Nets. Lillard should feast off of the terrible Nets defense and put up a big fantasy number.
D Booker SG 7700. Devin Booker is one of the most exciting young players in the NBA. He is the face of the Phoenix Suns franchise and he is averaging 40 fantasy points per game. He will go up against the Cleveland Cavs tonight and should get a high volume of shots. Booker has played well against the Cavs in the past and I like that to continue tonight.
K Love PF 6900. Kevin Love is finally back on the basketball court after missing the entire first 3/4 of the season. He had a toe injury that not only kept him sidelined, but also helped the Cavs put up one of the worst records in the league and tank in hopes of getting a top draft pick in the lottery. Love is back now and is easily the best player on the team. He should see his minutes start to rise and he is at a great value tonight from a fantasy perspective.
D Cousins C 6100. Demarcus Cousins is well rested after a trip to Mexico over All-Star Weekend. The Golden State Warriors center has been a perfect fit so far since joining the team and there have been no issues. He has made a great team even greater and it looks like the Warriors will be unstoppable in the playoffs. Cousins is averaging 32 fantasy points per game but that is just the tip of the iceberg as his minutes are rising fast. He is the best center on the board tonight.
It is going to be very interesting to see how everything shakes out during the remainder of the regular season. There should be plenty of scoring tonight as everyone is as rested as they have been all season. If you are looking for the game of the night, the Rockets at the Lakers will be televised on TNT. Tip off is at 9:30pm Central Standard Time.
