Kevin Durant is clogging the Warriors well oiled machine at the moment. It's like since the playoffs have arrived and the pressure has mounted he has resorted back to what he is used to and that is isolation basketball. He refuses to pass the ball out of the low block even when the Rockets double team him.
Hopefully Andre Iguodala will be able to return Saturday, which should settle everyone down as the team can lean on his level headed decision making that earned him Finals MVP honors just three years ago.
I have the Warriors winning game 6 setting up a decisive game 7 that everyone had been hoping for since the Chris Paul trade was made.
Yea he is reverting to his old ways. And Kerr is cool with it. I remember in a post-game interview somebody brought up how he stagnates the flow and he just said something like "That's Kevin Durant, that's the guy you want shooting it". And I get that but that's not how they've played when they've been unbeatable. And yea I'm giving the Warriors this Game 6 victory too. I doubt Paul will play they may rest him back in Houston and bring him out for Game 7, praying he recovered a little.
Yeah Steve Kerr had to give that response to keep Durant confident. He knows that he is in his head too much at the moment and needs to start reacting instead of thinking while on the court.
They have already said that Chris Paul won't play in Game 6 and hamstring injuries are tough so it is quite possible he won't be able to go in Game 7. This should give the Warriors the upper hand at home, but with the confidence the Rockets have at the moment nothing is for sure.
Oh so they ruled Paul out? And yea hamstrings can really linger so Game 7 is totally up in the air for him...
Yea Harden's going to need a monumentally great performance. I mean he scored 60 that one game this year but he's in such a funk right now. Well, all they need is one game to advance and then they can get some brief rest. But chances of winning are slim as hell for Game 6 on the road. If they somehow manage to eliminate them without Paul I'm gonna shit myself.
