Flashback of India's Test victory against England

The five-match Test series between India and England is going to start on Wednesday.Since 1932, the Indian team has played 17 test matches in England. England have won 13 Tests, while India has won three series and the Test series played in 2002 was a 1-1 draw.

India has won only 6 wins from 57 Tests on England, and lost to the 30th.When 21 Test matches are drawn. Thus India has won the Test series 3 times in 86 years in England.

1971: INDIA WON THE SERIES

The first Test of the series played at Lord's in 1971 and the second Test played at Manchester resulted in the draw.India won a thrilling victory in the third Test of the series at the Oval and won the series 1-0 with them.

This was India's first Test and series victory in England.. Ajit Vadekar scored the highest 204 runs for India in the Test series, while Venkataraghavan was the highest wicket taker of 13 wickets.

2007: INDIA WON THE SERIES

India won 1-0 in the three-Test series in 2007.. The first and final Test was drawn in which India won the second Test.Dinesh Karthik scored a superb 360 runs in this Test series.When Zaheer Khan was the highest wicket taker in the bowling of 18 wickets.
