Aragon MotoGP, Free Practice I Result: Marquez Fastest, Pedrosa Second

Repsol Honda placed its rider in the top two positions of MotoGP Aragon's first practice. Marc Marquez recorded the fastest time, followed by Dani Pedrosa.

Marquez recorded a time of 2 minutes 1.243 seconds to become a rider with the best lap time at the Motorland Aragon circuit on Friday afternoon local time, in training sessions that run under cloud overcast and raindrop.

Pedrosa finished second with 0.498 seconds adrift of his team-mates, and Johan Zarco from Monster Yamaha Tech 3 at third.

Meanwhile, Andrea Dovizioso from Ducati, who is competing with Marquez at the top of the league, finished free practice session by being in 10th position. Jorge Lorenzo, his teammate, is in a better position in sixth place.

While Movistar Yamaha's rider Valentino Rossi, who just returned after surgery due to motocross injury, complete eight rounds in this exercise. Note the time which he made put him in the 18th position.
