It was interesting that was for sure. I worked ina Speed Box (tuner shop) in Japan when I was moonlighting, so I had opportunity to do a great many things. 1000+ hp Toyota Aristo, 2JZ Nissan Sunny, 7M Toyota Carina etc. Owned a MKIV and R32 at one time, also put a twin T78 RB32 in an S30 (Fairlady Z)-that was a fucking scary, scary, scary car (pull the front wheels up scary).. The capuccinno was a little rocket but you could never get the traction you needed no matter what tires as it did not weigh enough.. It was really scary on the expressway from say 100kph - 240kph, no spin all pull.. but at 100 and below if you punched it, your going sideways all over the place.. Fun car..
You basically lived out an episode of Wangan Midnight, I am so jealous right now. I'd kill to have an S30.. they are hens teeth where I live. Not sure if you are following my personal blogs on here but I have 2 x RX7 FD's, an R32 GT-R and an MR2 SW20 all pretty lightly modified in comparison to what you mentioned above! I see you live in FL, I believe the import laws there allow you to own pretty much anything without having to worry about the draconian law of 25years. Man, I need to watch some Wangan Midnight / Initial D now... You just hyped me to work on my GT-R! Well deserved of an upvote for this :)

Oddly probably my favorite car of all.. Toyota Carina GT-TR, running a 2JZ.. Ultimate sleeper, twin t67 750 RWHP.. It looked like a grocery getter, but would scream.Will have to find some finished pictures of it in old albums, this was when I was working the hood, before paint etc.
I brought two s30's back and sold them on ebay some years ago.
