Kevin Durant Says Playing With LeBron James Is Toxic Environment.

in #steemsports5 years ago (edited)

According to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report, it was mentioned that Kevin Durant languishes the fact about the out of proportion media attention and the sacrifices other players have to make in order to play with LeBron James.

It is not a personal attack on LeBron James at all. Kevin Durant is just stating a fact that since LeBron looms larger than a franchise his presence attract so much unnecessary attention that oftentimes it is not just about playing basketball at all.

Media follows every word he says and that established players like Kevin Love and Chris Bosh have to change their playing time just to adapt the way LeBron plays the game

The point that I got interested in this is that the fact that come 2019, Kevin Durant will be a free agent and the potential of pairing him with LeBron can be one of the most explosive tandems ever. Durant has the all-around game and outside shooting skills that can very well complement LeBron's style of play.

The way Kevin Durant commented though, is that it seems that this would be a distant reality. I think Durant will suit well with whatever team he chooses next year, whether to stay at Golden State Warriors or go back to his former team Oklahoma Thunders or perhaps with the loudest noise of his potential team nowadays the New York Knicks.

What I am hoping though is another super team for him by next year. This is to elevate the potential of how well other teams can compete with a deep stacked talented team. So, if not with Golden State, I am also looking forward to seeing him join another championship caliber teams. And see him battle it out with former teammates Curry, Draymond, and Klay for the coveted NBA trophy.
