Is the NBA owned by 2 teams?

So here is a question that has been held on some sport shows lately. Where 2 super teams are really dominating the league. Except of the aberration that is a third team, but will it last?

So first we have 2 super teams, the last year conference champions, Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. The issue comes where the Cavs have been pummeling over the teams, except for a small hiccup against the Altanta Hawks and the Pacers against a LeBron-less Cavs. But don't sleep!!!

On the wake of LeBron rest, they haved DESTROYED, both, the Blazers and the Maverics. Both teams that are under .500 but also, it has been over by halftime. Kevin Love shinning like never before on his Cavs history and also Kirie beeing on point.

On the west coast, the Golden State Warriors have also done their part with the LA Lakers, just on the aftermath of a pretty good victory against the Raptors, and when people started to give them props, the Warriors served them with an impressive 149 points and a lead of 43 points, ending at 149-106.

So the question that was recently taken on First Stake raise even stronger. Is the NBA owned by 2 teams?

Here is where we might cut some slack and say, well there is the LA Clippers and the Atlanta Hawks also holding good records and even Clippers leading the league at some point before dropping 5 games.

My opinion is that the favorites have arrived to their no 1 spot and wont give it away as long as fatigue, or just pacing program doesn't get in the way. Specially for the Cavs which seems to play more as a unit and they all sort of need each other for their plays. While the Warriors are usually seating one superstar per periods.

As the season goes, I think we will see less and less competitiveness as the feeling of impotence by the lower teams subconsciously or consciously started creeping in.

What you think, is this going to be the set pattern for the rest of the regular season or will an unexpected player like the Spurs or someone from the East will break the duopoly for the championship.
