Steemit Football Club: Which country will start it?
Over more than 100 day that I joined steemit. Steemit is gradually becoming a way of life.
I was writing a post for a Steemit conference that will hold in my country, Nigeria in November, then some thought of how Nigerians have been exceptionally great in sports and most especially football came to my mind.

Everything is possible with man, this is a future proposal to my thinking.
Since you've thought of it, then it's possible, we can start such steemit top-ups locally within ourselves in a community.

It is possible to have a blockchain dedicated to sport...as long as if there are supports from the steemians
yes, it is possible, it just need to be focused, I am sure there will be support all around.
There is a huge potential in steemsport that you are conceiving, @turpsy. Check out those who are interested and collaborate with them to begin work on the project. I believe that crowdfunding for the project will be easier with the upcoming steemit smart media token (SMT) era in 2018. Also read @donkeypong's forecast of use case for SMT. Prepare yourself for the new era, where businesses will blossom and all of us will be thankful for steemit. Enjoy!

My response would be having sports club in various countries. We are in a decentralized era and the steemit blockchain is one that is decentralized.
