STEEMSKATE Week 1 : Getting a trick at a local sketchy spot

For this contest you just had to film a trick. I had my eye on this local sketchy spot as it was on my way to work. The trick is really basic but when I got there I had underestimated the steepness of the bank. Nevertheless I summoned the skate gods grew some bollox and went for it . It took about twenty tries and was frequently interrupted by people walking by (it is a walkway under a bridge) as well as someone asking if I smoked.
I'm sorry if this post is a bit rushed and more sorry it is on YouTube but given that I just wanted to get it out and I had to go for the quick option.

THAT WAS such an awesome video @echo-bat and i were watching it it was super funny. haha "do you smoke" "no, i dont" lol. that looks like a hard spot to skate. its so cool seeing the UK man! that terrain is so much older than ours in america! super cool man thanks so much for entering!
Looks colde there too!! haha! good cuz its cold in chicago too but im going to get a clip for the contest anyway even though its my contest just to add to #steemskate week 1. I cant belive the post got over 20 bucks thats insane!!! i got a whale @teamsteem to upvote it like 15 bucks and he told me about the minnowsupport project so i made an application for that and they sent me 10 steem!!! so we will have funds to keep this project going at least till it gets warm out but by then we will have made several steemskate contests so we will hopefully have more. I am going on a Minnowsupport radio show on sunday to talk about the project so hopefully i will get more people into supporting it

Thanks man the weird thing was just before you posted about the contest I was trying to think of ways to increase skating on Steem and up you popped like a Jeremy Wray ollie. Making this video was super fun so thanks for the motivation . I am pretty involved with minnowsupport and I am regular in the chat room and have also been on the radio a few times. Sunday show is sweet I take it that's the Aggroed one . I will try do the Wed show its a dude called Ma1nevent and he intereviews as little dudes and we can go on there and talk about our posts and stuff. Looking forward to your entry dont let me down , now I am going to die for a few hours after skating and drinking last night .
do you want to join me on sunday? im new to the minnow support crowd. but yeah this project might blow up and rewuire a lot of responsibility . im going to need to hire peiple to judge when it starts getting crazy
