What is the Steem Sister Show All About?
We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content (@coruscate even posts on crypto related material sometimes) – we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.
We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!
How Does It Work?
We pick a different topic every episode, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.
Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.

Next Week’s Topic : A Christmas Special
When we started looking at the calander - we realized that we would be filming again before Christmas, and this episode would get posted on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day! Seemed silly to not do another Christmas themed episode with that in mind.
So we are going to do a pretty unusual episode - a Christmas special to be precise. We will do a mashup of maybe some chrismas carols, maybe answer a few questions about Christmas, read Christmas stories, make cookies... who knows!
So if you still have questions about Christmas that we didn't cover in this episode (or you want us to chat about them in more detail) then let us know below! If we choose to answer your question we will send you 2 steem.

We also open our presents one at a time @steemsistershow too although we wait until after lunch. 😁
And games is one of my favourite things. Some we only play at Christmas. One called telegrams is an old family tradition but now we have to explain what a telegram is to anyone new and under 40! 😂
In fact that's probably my very favourite thing . . . sitting around the table with a drink and chocolates playing games in the evening.
Sadly we don't get to do it these days as we have young grandchildren so that particular tradition is on hold until they get a bit older.

Oh my God girls, that was so great, haha, the Birthday cake for Jesus I am absolutely going to bug Mama dreemit...:

...Yeah, bug her to explain why we never did the cake thing, because my family is also religious, always a passage from the Bible or a devotional on Christmas morning before, agonizingly before, we got to open gifts. But no cake...well no birthday cake. Hmm, maybe that's because she baked every other thing on God's earth except cake during that time..
I absolutely love that Mary shared her love of drinking with us, hahaha, ah beer pong, it really is the best drinking game that ever was. And underage was truly the most fun time to play it, let's be real, none of this pc stuff hee :D (I bought my younger brother a beer pong set for college as one of his Christmas gifts when he was 18, a classy one with cool cups instead of the solo throwaways, had to give it to him on the sly ;-)- True story- (@ed-the-songster, sadly he doesn't really steem anymore :-( but feel free to drop a comment after listening to one of his awesome songs and urge him back-
Oh yeah, this comment is super long sorry, but I had to point out that the 'sweet sweet beer' in the photo above was a message from me to @meesterboom and next time we visit there I'll have to put one up for Mary 😂
