Ring with a skull

in #steemsilvergold7 years ago

Such rings were very popular in the early 20th century. This ring was made in 1914 and belonged to a front-line soldier who fought in the First World War and was a participant in the revolution in Russia. Or rather, he spoke against the Bolsheviks in Russia, such rings were worn by fighters of anti-Bolshevik detachments. At the very ring remained the signature of the owner. The ring was found by my friend in the courtyard of the old house where during the Revolution there was a revolutionary committee. It is possible that the owner went over to the side of the Bolsheviks and threw out the ring as a symbol of the old life. Or maybe the owner was captured by the Bolsheviks and shot.
