I love Gooold!!! New LCS score of the day.
I think I was getting burned out on stacking silver. I've been collecting it for a decent amount of time and it got boring. Oh look, another Eagle that looks the same as the rest of them. Same with Maples, Philharmonics and the bunch. With all the hand poured stuff coming out it was starting to get interesting again....then I found Gold. Goldmember Meme
The other day I picked up my first gold piece, a 1855 20 Franks. I got such a good deal I had to go back for another. Welcome the 1867 20 Francs to my collection. I think this one looks better than the first one. This coin has a mintage of 2,923,000 making one of the lower mintage years. Here she is in all her beauty.
With my stackitis in full swing I couldn't leave with just this piece. Sitting not to far from these Francs was a small fractional piece giving me the stink eye. After a small negotiation it was added to my order as well. This coin has a mintage of only 20,000 pieces and is .999 Gold. It is a George Washington $25 coin Made in Germany for the country of Liberia. It came with a spec sheet and nice story of ole George. I need to buy one of those magnifiers for my phone, this one is tiny.
But it wasn't enough. I still had some garbage Fiat in my pocket. With not much to choose from I headed to the gram bar section. It was either these little guys or beer (I ended up getting both but who's counting). I grabbed a Hippo, Liberty Bell, 38 Revolver and I think an A-10 Warthog.
I'm hoping this score will help keep the stackitis at bay until my next shipment arrives. Got some cool stuff on the way that I'll be showing you in the coming days. Hope you enjoyed and have a great weekend!

I actually have boxes filled with comics. Don't know much about them but I got them cheap at auction.
couple of pictures would be nice
Gold is always a good deal, unless the premium is very high. I have some of the fractionals issued by Liberia. They have 0.5g, 0.67g and 1g. You need a loupe to see clearly...
Not to mention the fact I need glasses. They are some nice little pieces. Thanks for stopping.
Nice gold,That's a really good example of a 1867 gold 20 franc. I like the eagle in the middle of the crowns.
Thanks. I'm really starting to like these coins. Now I just need better pics of them.
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
Thank you for your support @ssg-community!
Very cool. That is a tiny little coin alright! I think it says .73g? Wow. And I love the little gram bars
Yup .73g. Just a little guy but the price was right. Thanks for stopping by @fat-elvis.
Very Nice Gold Pieces.
Thanks @goldkey.
Nice scores @vgholdingsllc! The gold pieces all look like they are in pretty good condition. I am still looking at a few places to get my first piece of gold, but I am still new to silver so I am trying to figure it all out. I am hoping to get a small couple gram piece before the year is over :)
If you are just starting out I would suggest getting silver. Find a coin or series and start collecting. It gets addicting once you find something you like. Thanks for the comment and good luck.
