2016 Republic of Congo Silver 1 oz Silverback Gorilla
Good evening, Steemians!
Tonight I would like to show you a pretty good looking piece of silver from my stack: It's my 2016 Republic of Congo Silver 1 oz Silverback Gorilla.
I believe I saw this coin on APMEX almost two years ago. I really liked the design, as it looks like the gorilla is staring right back at me.
I also like the border around the border of the coin. The triangular tribal symbols of the African culture look very unique.
Let me know if you picked up one or more of these coins. I also liked it because it came with its own capsule.

Great coins ive got 5 of each year and im waiting for 10 2017 gorillas which are out for delivery as i write. Great photos BTW im after a half decent camera, what sort of camera did you use to make these shots?

really !!! the photos look as if youve took the time to get the exposure and composition right, you must have a steady hand too as they look pin sharp. Well done id say. My 2017 gorrillas were waiting for me when i got home yesterday, they'd caused a bit of havoc, eaten the missuses house plants and snapped a few lampstands :-D The 10 Iguanas were climbing up the walls, the athenian owls were flying around upstairs and the 2016 pandas were eating the patio furniture

No, you sure wouldn't! I stopped going to LCS after I realized I wasn't getting any deals and they didn't have the variety I could get online.
Yes the only uncommon item I found was some Kitco silver round and Yamana gold plated silver round. Otherwise is more common silver coin and junk silver.

It's a nice coin. I gravitate toward whatever deals apmex is hosting. Yet every now and then I see a coin that's beautiful and at a good price. My most recent was the canadian steamboat wily coin. I really loved that coin.
