This is one of the primary reasons I hold a significant portion of my net worth in physical silver/gold. Ore grades have declined dramatically in recent years, and eventually advancements in technology will not be able to keep up.

Peak silver should be even more dramatic than peak gold, since so much is consumed in industry...the amount of above ground silver is very small in relation to annual consumption by industry.
