Unboxing Awesomeness!!!
I modified this image because their picture just didn't have enough fireworks to express my enthusiasm!!!
A little while ago I entered a contest by @britcoin, aka Regal Stacker where he was giving away two sets of the Five Queen's Beasts that have been released so far. I was one of the winners!
I got slightly ahead of myself and got the package opened before I took pictures of the outer envelope. However, that saves me from blocking out addresses, and you have one fewer picture to look at. There are a lot coming!
I knew what was coming, but I was still super excited...
First out is the Bull of Clarence!
He trotted off to the side and the Unicorn of Scotland emerged!
The Unicorn joined the Bull, and the Red Dragon of Wales flew from the package!
Lastly, after the Dragon landed next to the other three, the Griffin of Edward III strode forward!
The Five were eager to be about their business inspecting their new home, but I was able to convince them to stop and pose for a picture together
Each of the single coins have a great weight to them, but when you hold all five together, it's really something to experience. These are going in a special collecting category called "You'll have to pry these from my cold, dead fingers."
These are all beautiful coins and it was a wonderful prize! Thank you @britcoin for your generosity!
For those of you who don't know @britcoin, he is a great Steemian who is enthusiastic about collecting silver, and he's very generous with his giveaways. He was away for a little while because his daughter was having some health issues. He hasn't talked about it much, but if you have a minute, please stop by his page and give him some well wishes for his daughter. I'm sure he wouldn't mind some encouraging words and support.
Thank you again, @britcoin for the amazing prize!
And thank you for reading!
sir noname! wow those coins look beautiful but I wanted to see them more up close but maybe you can do that in a regular post but congratulations sir, that is truly an amazing unboxing!
Thanks! I'm glad to hear that you liked them. I would have thought it strange if you didn't so that's a relief.
Unfortunately, with the camera equipment and knowledge that I have, that's about as close a picture as you're going to get from me. You can zoom in if you're using busy, or you can right-click and then open in a new tab from Steemit. You can zoom in from there. Alternatively, you can look at them on a third party website such as Provident Metals. Sorry, buddy.
sir noname! oh no that's fine, I just figured that later down the road you would probably do close up photos of them. But most of your coins and tokens have close up photos so I didn't know that you needed better equipment. I sure do too.
But that's great, I didn't know that opening them up in a different window would allow you to zoom in so that solves that problem!
I normally only post on each coin once. Since there were so many of the coins, I figured it would be a lot of pictures to scroll through to do one closeup of each in addition to the group shots.
well sir noname do the people who read and follow you care if it's long with pictures?
I think you should ask them but I like lots of pictures and since these people like coins I think they'd love more photos but then I probably don't know a darn thing! lol.
Good to know. I'll try to make more posts with a lot of pictures. Oooh, I took some pictures of a spider the other day. I'll put those up for you. :D
thank you sir noname! you know it's like when you were a kid, at least when I was a kid, and they told you to pick out a book to read for class or something so you would look for one with a lot of pictures so you didn't have to read as much?
I always loved reading, so it didn't really matter to me, but I understand what you're saying. It makes sense. And I do like the shiny, so I'm not going to be mad about having more pictures of it. :)
The Queen's Beasts are my favourite series and I have already ordered the sixth one, the Falcon. @britcoin is amazing member of our community.
They are very well done coins. The designers really put a lot of thought and effort into making them nice. I'm planning on getting the new ones as well. Regal got me a good start on this collection, so I'm going to finish it. :)
wow!!! So awesome!! :) The dragon one is my favorite! hehe
That's a good one to pick as your favorite. :)
hahaha :)
Fucking awesome win @tmwnn!
@britcoin Rulz Ballz!
Thanks, brother!
So, there's five coins, but did I just miss the name of one of them, or were there two of the same? you have the bull, the unicorn, dragon, and then with the griffin there's two coins that get added. Lion of England maybe?
Anyway, just curious, and they're all awesome looking coins and @britcoin is pretty generous to be handing them out in a contest.
Well, that's just plain embarrassing! I took the pics with my camera, so they weren't in their usual spot. I must have just missed the freaking picture. Ha ha. Oh, well. I'm not getting compensated like a professional. Still, shaking my head. :P
Yep, it's the Lion! I thought I was missing something.
Yes, @britcoin is the man!
Okay, cool. Thought for a moment I was missing something there myself. At any rate, those coins are great. It's amazing how you just keep getting some nice silver to stack. How many contests does this make now? Seems like three or so? Probably more because I probably missed some others in my kind of sort of absence. :)
Nope, you're doing great. There was an inkling in the back of my mind when I was making the post that I was missing something, but I didn't double-check. I should have.
I've actually won 4 contests now. I didn't win in either Monster Raffle, but I've won other contests. I'm thankful to have won. There are a lot of people who could have won all of those and it's cool that I was picked. Life hasn't been all rainbows and butterflies, so it's nice to get some wins. Y'know?
You can take the wins when they come, man, because they are sometimes fleeting. I've heard it's supposed to make you more appreciative when the wins actually occur. I think winning brings it's own slice of savoring, but who am I to correct thousands of years of philosophy and probably biblical teachings. I guess I shouldn't mess with that. :)
Sometimes the losing makes you appreciate the wins more. Sometimes you just get beat down and don't care anymore. Hopefully we can at least stay at a place where we're hopeful to win again, even if it doesn't seem likely. Then when it happens, take the time to appreciate it.
I've had the coins sitting out much longer than I normally would because I'm still in a certain amount of disbelief that I actually got them. It's a bit surreal. It's nice to hold them all at once. They're so heavy! :)
Love it Blondie! Keep stacking those things and yes keep those hands warm so they never leave you :)
They're amazing coins! I'm doing my best to keep the hands warm. I even took a multi-vitamin today. Ha ha!
very good... keep that vitamin going... pretty soon that stack is going to be large and you will need those hands super strong and not cold either!
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
