Coin of the Day 11-08-18

Yesterday I wrote about an Amusement Token that had no cash value. Here's another one that's similar... but different.

This Token has no cash or trade value

Numista says that there are four version of this token with the border and the diamond varying. Like yesterday's token, it's made of brass.

There doesn't seem to be much demand or value for this token. Still, in an age where arcades primarily use credit cards to purchase game time, this is still an interesting link to the past.

howdy sir noname! hey what years were those things used anyway, they look ancient.

I'm not sure. They don't say, and my research didn't turn anything up either. Not sure when or where they were minted or by whom.

that's interesting. Well I would guess around 1900 through 1940 but that's just a wild guess.

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

I love coins and tokens with a hole in the middle as it takes the need of morons to drill coins for jewellery 😁
