This United States Huguenot-Wallon Half Dollar was Minted in 1924. Interestingly enough only 142,080 were Minted and not all were sold to the public. 55,000 were returned to the Mint and the Mint placed them into circulation....#PirateSunday..........Little Known Fact about this coin. The Chief Engraver of the Mint George T. Morgan (Designer of the Morgan Dollar) and James Earle Fraser (Designer of the Buffalo Nickel) each had a hand in designing the Plaster Models used in the Design of this Coin..............
