We Need Members Help to Determine the Raffle Prize Order!

This Monster Raffle got pretty big pretty quickly and now we have a problem. It’s kind of a good problem to have and it’s one that the Members of #SteemSilverGold can definitely help us with. The original idea was that there would be a certain level of prestige associated with the sponsor putting up the 1st Prize, but now that we have 26 prizes (and counting) suddenly it’s very difficult to try and rank or rate them all. We’re probably being disrespectful to our Prize Donators if we try and do that.

So the current plan is that we have a few clearly prestigious and highly sought after prizes, maybe 1st prize to 5th prize and then all the other prizes have a random draw order as part of what we’ll call the “Community Chest”. There will probably be 1 minute or so between each draw so if a winner is online and IN the Discord while the draw is going on they will have about 1 minute to choose an unclaimed prize from the “Community Chest” if they prefer and so desire. It’s an extra benefit of being online and part of the LIVE DRAW and we’re all about creating incentives to get more involved in this community.

But as for how to select the most prestigious prizes from the pot? Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so everyone is likely to value these prizes differently. Some people are interested in weights and spot prices, others care about rarity and premiums. We have Gilded, Proof, Graded, Hand Poured, Limited Mintage and Certificate of Authenticity prizes….it’s a lot to try and value them all and there is bound to be disagreement! So what better way to figure out what is the most valuable prize than to poll the SSG Membership itself. After all, there are a bunch of very knowledgeable stackers here who collectively know more about the value of this stuff than I do….or probably any 1 person for that matter.

So what we’re doing is putting a comment below this post for every prize that’s been put into the pot to date. What we’re asking our SSG Members to do is Upvote UP TO 5 of them which you think are the most valuable prizes that should be put in the prestigious positions at the top of the LIVE DRAW. Please remember that this is not a popularity contest for individuals so we’re not putting Prize Donators names against the comments, and only SSG Members votes will be counted (to prevent any upvote bot vote stacking). We just want to know one thing – Which prizes do you want to WIN yourself!?

We will be using these votes as a guide and this will definitely help us out, so please get involved and vote! We only have a couple of days to figure this out so it will be a very quick poll.
