SSG-Community: How to delegate steem power - Step by step
Yo Steemsilvergold, its your boy here silverstackeruk coming at you with another post. We all know that June is only a few days away so we have been collecting donations and delegations from members for for the past few days and with only 2/4 days left to secure your membership tier, it would be time to do a ''how to delegate'' to @ssg-community post. Delegating your SP to ssg-community and most likely the best investment as far as RIO goes on steemit. When compared to minnowbooster and smartsteem, Precious blows them out of the water. Of course you are required to post to get Precious rewards but most of us post everyday so no biggie.

Welsh wrote this post last month while he was delegating some SP to help others. He has done a perfect step by step process post and the might the first of more posts from him to come.
Here is a very quick way to delegate steempower to @ssg-community bot. I personally use www.steemconnect.com and find it's always been very quick and very secure.
Ok, now first up you need to decide which tier you would like to join and then see how much delegation is required to delegate.

| Silver Tier | 1000 SP | 45 STEEM |
| Bronze Tier | 250 SP | 11.25 STEEM |
| Lead Tier | 100 SP | 4.5 STEEM |
Tiers can be made up from a combination of delegation and steem donations(liquid steem).
e.g. SILVER TIER - to get a silver tier you need to delegate 1000sp. If you only have 400sp to delegate then the rest can be made up with liquid steem.
1000sp - 400sp = 600sp(out standing donation). To calculate the liquid steem equivalent of 600sp you need to multiply it by 0.045.
600X0.045=27 steem
Therefore 400sp + 27steem would = 1000sp
So now you've chosen your tier and worked out how much delegation to send.

Now that the link is in your browser replace "USERNAME" in the link with your own username i.e. welshstacker, no need for the @ symbol... Use lower case. This makes the link personal to your account. By replacing "ssg-community" with any other account name you can delegate to that account using the same link. Hit enter. This will take you to steemconnect.com

Hey @silverstackeruk, I'm thinking about a delegation to @ssg-community, but I have a question or two.
How long does the delegation last? Is it month to month or is it continuous?
Also, can I stop at any time or am I signing up for a fixed amount of time?

Delegation is perpetual. It will stay until you cancel it and so it's kind of an auto-renewed contribution for @ssg-community. The only thing to be wary of is that there is a 7 day cooldown so if you cancel your delegation in the future you it goes into "limbo" for 7 days and you have to wait for it to be returned.
On May 31 I will delegate 250SP. It is so good to have an 0.05 upvote that I want to use it till the end...
Im going for 500SP this month myself to drop my steem donation some. I got the slider the other day and im gonna lose it again :'(

This is incredible! Because of little support that I give new steemians through my tiny upvotes, I may not be able to delegate yet. But I will send steem instead.
I got to know about this community through @goldmatters, and I have no doubt of its integrity.
But I have a question; is it required that new donors join #steemsilvergold community on discord before steem is donated?
You need to be a member of steemsilvergold to beable to use @ssg-community. There is another bot out there that goes by @rewards-pool and that is a free for all :) It is ran by 2 members of the community but and everyone is free to join that one.

Hmm, your not a member of the steemsilvergold community so it is unlikely you will get a vote. I only post using the #steemsilvergold tag to try and stop this from happening. You might wonna pull your delegation.

You need to make people ablt to understand what you are, don't you think?
I recommend putting an explenatino post out there - and then link it from the profile, as many other people do.
That way you don't have to explain every time someone sees you and goes ???
Like me atm.
For example the difference of the tiers is a complete mystery.
And if people need to join a discord channel, then explain why and most important - give the link!
